Tech Tip – Sump Pump Testing

Have you tested your Sump Pump recently? With summer storms on the horizon, it’s critical to make sure your Sump Pump is prepared to handle an increase in activity.

To test your Sump Pump, Clarksburg Plumbing suggests dumping a bucket of water inside (make sure your pump is on). With the added water your pump should kick on automatically. If it doesn’t turn on or it’s malfunctioning – it’s time to upgrade.
