It’s hard to know who to trust.
Sitting with her great grandfather eating raw oysters in 1989, Katie never envisioned that one day she too would own a plumbing company like him. Hard work and entrepreneurship run deep in Katie’s lineage. Falling into Clarksburg plumibng in 2010 after daycare was too expensive in MoCo for twins, Katie started learning all aspects of the trade and the business with her boys in tow. Adding a cross connection certification in 2018, WSSC Journeyman License in 2021 and WSSC Gas Journeyman License in 2022, Katie strives to do all she can to help the team. (She also has her Maryland Home Improvement license and facilitated the company earning nationwide WBENC certification in 2019.) When not at work, Katie is spending quality time in her garage gym, growing tomatoes in her garden and trying to remember to water them. She loves reading all books and being with her family.
JR is a second generation master plumber, learning the trade from his dad at 12 years old. His dad owned his own business in the 80’s and 90’s and eventually became a plumbing inspector. So the standard he held JR to was top in the industry. JR’s favorite aspect of the plumbing trade is running pipe. He loves to see the straight lines! When JR is not working he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting with his dad and sons, spending time outdoors and tinkering with old tractors. His dream is to be able to pass his knowledge on to his children so they can provide an honest living for their future families.
With a rich history in creative arts and desire to learn all things marketing, with a hint of plumbing, Mary joined Clarksburg Plumbing in 2019 as creative director. Working with leadership, Mary facilitated a deep dive with mentor Mario Quezada, a two year process forging a clear vision, mission and core values for Clarksburg Plumbing. Since then Mary, has put countless hours into mastering social media, SEO, customer care, and branding. When mary is not being all creative and Sh!t, she is running miles, singing Post Malone to her plants and enjoying local foods and craft beer. Mary is a proud doggie mom to fluffy crazy guy named Captain.
Jason is an integral and heart warming part of the Clarksburg Plumbing Team. Returning to the roster in 2019, Jason took the lead on the excavation department adding septic repair and replacement to the products and services available. With 25 years in the sewer/septic industry, Jason has seen it all and done it all. Big Silver is Jason’s truck and when Silver pulls up on the job all flow is restored. When Jason is not saving the day with his Clarksburg Plumbing team, he enjoys a cold mountain dew, playing nerf wars with his kids and relaxing by a fire with his wife.
Franklin is one of Clarksburg Plumbing’s OG technicians. Since day 1 his smile, positive attitude, and waterline dance has made his team the #1 team in MoCo for replacing water lines. There is no situation too tough or line too deep that Franklin has encountered/restored water flow. From underground trenchless repairs to rerouting a line to avoid breaking many feet of concrete, Franklin is the premier water line technician in MoCo. When he is finished a project you will never know there was a problem. In his evenings and weekends Franklin enjoys fishing, hanging with his family and experiencing all that life has to offer!
