Commercial Sewer & Excavation

Dig once, done right.

When a commercial sewer backs up or a buried line fails, the fix is rarely simple, and it is rarely a small dig. We handle commercial drain and sewer service plus the excavation behind it across Clarksburg and Montgomery County: cleaning, jetting, camera diagnosis, sewer and water line repair and replacement, utility trenching, and trenchless options that keep the dig small and your business open.

Sewer, lines & site work
The basics

Sewer and excavation, one crew

Commercial sewer problems and the excavation to fix them usually go together, and using two different companies for the diagnosis and the dig wastes time and money. We do both. We camera the line to find the real problem, clear or jet what we can, and when a line needs to be repaired or replaced, we handle the excavation, utility trenching, and site restoration ourselves, with trenchless options wherever they fit to keep the disruption to your property and your operation as small as possible.

What we do

From a backed-up main to a full line replacement and the dig to do it, one crew handles it all.

How it works

Diagnose, dig smart, restore

We dig only where we have to, and we put your site back together when we are done.

1

Camera & locate

We scope the line and pinpoint the problem and its depth, so the dig is targeted.

2

Clear or plan the dig

We jet or clear what we can, and plan the excavation or trenchless repair for what we cannot.

3

Excavate & repair

We excavate safely, repair or replace the line, and coordinate around your operation.

4

Backfill & restore

We backfill, compact, and restore the site, including hardscape, as close to original as possible.

When to call

Signs you need sewer or excavation work

For a commercial property, an underground problem only gets worse, and more expensive, the longer it waits.

Recurring or multiple backups

Main-line backups that keep returning across a commercial building point to a deeper sewer problem.

Sewage odors or standing water

Odors inside or wet, sunken spots outside can mean a cracked or collapsed line underground.

Slow drains building-wide

Sluggish drainage throughout a property usually means a restriction in the main sewer line.

Failed inspection or violation

A flagged sewer or site issue needs diagnosis, repair, and proper restoration to clear.

New construction or tie-ins

New service lines, additions, and utility tie-ins need excavation done right and to code.

Old or undersized lines

Aging clay, cast iron, or undersized commercial lines crack, root, and clog and may need replacement.

Sewer trouble or a dig coming up? Let's scope it.

What we dig

Sewer, water, and site work

If it runs underground at your property, we can diagnose it, dig it, and restore it.

Sewer Lines

Main sewer and lateral lines cleared, repaired, or replaced, with excavation or trenchless methods.

Water & Service Lines

Commercial water service lines excavated, repaired, replaced, and tied in to the main.

Site & Utility Work

Trenching, utility excavation, and site restoration for new builds, additions, and tie-ins.

Local, licensed, low-disruption

Why this matters here

Commercial excavation in Montgomery County means permits, utility locates, traffic and parking impacts, and inspections, and every day your lot is torn up is a day customers cannot reach you. As a local, licensed contractor, we handle the permitting and locates, dig smart with trenchless options where they fit, and restore the site fast so your business keeps running.

  • We camera and locate before any dig
  • We handle permits and utility locates
  • Trenchless options keep digs small where possible
  • We restore the site and work around your hours
Less digging

Ask about trenchless

For many commercial sewer and water lines, we can repair or replace with little digging. See how trenchless works.

Trenchless Repair
The crew that does the hard digs

A crew you are glad to let in

Commercial sewer and excavation work takes the right equipment, the right permits, and real experience. Our own trained, licensed, background checked crew owns the whole job, from camera diagnosis to the dig to the final restoration, so you deal with one team, not three.

Absolute best plumbers I have ever used. Needed them a few times recently and each time they were so professional, kind and resolved each problem the first time around. This last issue took them several hours to fix. They explained everything along the way and gave a very fair price for a lot of work. They also work very cleanly! I will never use another plumber!

I needed a water valve installed for my new fridge and a new faucet installed in upstairs bathroom. Seth was amazing. He came out and really listened to me and my concerns. We even called the company that was going to deliver my new fridge so he would have a better understanding of what he needed to do his job. It made me feel at ease with the whole process. He is even coming back later in the week to install new fridge once it’s delivered. I will absolutely call them again.

We had a pinhole leak suddenly appear in our outdoor hose bib, and Clarksburg Plumbing was able to provide next-day service, which we really appreciated. Our technician, John Brown, arrived right on time after giving us a 30-minute courtesy call. John quickly diagnosed the problem, explained everything clearly, and provided an accurate assessment of what needed to be done. He completed the repair in under two hours, and the quality of his work was excellent. Before leaving, he even took the time to share some helpful tips on how to prevent similar issues in the future. John was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better service experience. I highly recommend Clarksburg Plumbing and especially John Brown for anyone needing reliable, high-quality plumbing work.

Cris and Franklin from Clarksburg Plumbing did incredible work at our home fixing an underground water service leak. They encountered complications but went to plan B efficiently and skillfully and got the job done well and in a timely manner. They also answered all our questions patiently and taught us a lot of why they made the decisions they made. We are very pleased with their work and plan to recommend them and all of Clarksburg Plumbing to our friends and neighbors.
